I walked the mountain ,strode by the river , I stared alone at starlit skies,
Of all the beauty i could see, I had seen it all in your small eyes..
I've been to god's places ,sat and meditated , was told of a feeling divine ,
you disturbed my peace of mind,you became my peace of mind..
I have seen it in movies,just before they kiss,
it is that pause ,that look on your face,you make me miss..
Heard the thump of the beats ,saw bodies meet ,swaying away into the night..
Like shadows fading into becoming us ,us who at the first time had gotten it right ..if only..
Well, then you've come and gone and come only for as long as a day..
And then you've never gone since that first time I'd say..
For being the first ,and the first forever ,
