Javed Akhtar answers the question by writing this song...like the carefree stroke of a pen the lyrics quickly find a connection with the youth...youth , a period of trying out new things , making mistakes , committing blunders and yet emerging triumphant...when feelings come and disappear like channels on a television screen...staying never too long but just long enough to keep you engaged ...and confused..the constant rush, the nagging anxiety to venture into something new before the current engagement is over ...the realization that time is limited ..life is short and youth even shorter..the seemingly overwhelming importance of the most insignificant things and the apparent trivialisation of the important ones...the jugglery with priorities and the high prioritisation of this jugglery...
Some would never bother to try and understand the beauty of this period of life rather just enjoy it ...though are confused sometimes for finding things the way they are ....then ignore the confusion and move on...
